I'm finding this talk helpful in creating a little space around my fear and anger with the state of this election. We do have a choice to focus on "what we want vs. what we don't want". We are "deluded in believing there is someone out there to fix it". How can we collectively and individually "place ourselves in service of love"? Instead of blaming one person, individually, for this suffering. Let's look deeper to the social dysfunction that we perpetuate when we sink to the level of hatred and fear. "Forgive them, for they know not what they do". Let's not get "infected by the negativity". Let's "look through and not away" and honor our "responsibilities to cultivate how kind and noble we can be" as a human race.
